Young plasma exchange

The theory behind young blood infusion is that it could contain certain factors or molecules that could potentially rejuvenate aging cells and tissues. One of the ways that scientists are measuring the effects of young blood infusion on the aging process is by using the epigenetic clock.

The epigenetic clock is a method of measuring biological age that looks at changes in DNA methylation patterns, which occur as we age. By measuring changes in DNA methylation patterns, scientists have been able to create a mathematical formula, or epigenetic clock, which can predict an individual's biological age.

Preliminary research has suggested that young blood infusion may lead to a decrease in epigenetic age in animals by as much as 50%, indicating that it is having a rejuvenating effect on the body. However, much more research is needed before we can fully understand the potential benefits and risks of this approach.
